Mr. Foster’s client acquitted of 41 counts in a large-scale and sophisticated international fraud. Other accused person was convicted of all charges and sentenced to a lengthy prison term.
R. v. D.
Client was acquitted of Customs Act offence for failing to declare tens of thousands of dollars of jewelry when returning to Canada. The seized property was returned to the client.
